Welcome to Moab
Wind is what created this beautiful red rock country in southern Utah. If you are quiet you can hear the voices of the old ones being carried through the canyons.
Water is the force behind the Colorado River that cuts its way through the valley artistically and patiently to create a breathtaking panorama in which everyone can delight.
Red is the color of the rock that is almost blinding. I promise you it will make your arm hairs stand on end.
Magnificent spires, breathtaking towers, domes and buttresses and spectacular arches are what make up this extraordinary place. The greatest thing about this place is you can get up close and personal to all of this by bicycling, hiking, horseback riding, rafting or 4 wheeling.
Canyonlands & Arches National Parks, Dead Horse Point State Park, Castle Valley, Wall Street Rock Climbing and of course the legendary Slickrock Mountain Bike Trail are all close to Moab and shouldn’t be missed.
Once you've visited Moab, Utah you will never be the same.

Where to stay in Moab
We like to stay here at the Super 8 and hang out by the pool and hot tub after those long days of fun. There is a Denny’s right next door to the hotel so you just have to drag your self out of bed and crawl 100 feet to breakfast. We’ve enjoyed it many times because it’s comfortable and quiet.
Play hard…rest hard!
Sorrel River Ranch Resort
When we want to really spoil ourselves, we stay at the Sorrel River Ranch Resort.
The cabin style luxury rooms have rustic wood furniture, wooden deck porches and log built beds. We like to take a walk at night and watch the shooting stars. During the day we like to go horseback riding into Castle Valley behind the red rocks where John Wayne filmed a couple of his movies. If you see Joe tell him we said Hi! They also have an elegant restaurant in the hotel…yum!
When you want to pamper yourself this is the place.
IfWhen you’re on a budget, this is a nice place to stay. They have an outdoor heated pool, indoor hot tub and a complimentary continental breakfast. This hotel is a short distance from all the great shops and restaurants that central Moab has to offer. Nothing fancy, but definitely everything you need.
So have a jolly good time in Moab!
